The meaning behind the name.
In the world of rock climbing, 8c is more than just a grade. It represents a level of difficulty that demands absolute perfection, relentless dedication, and surgical precision. It is immensely hard to achieve.
I chose this name because I bring that same "8c" intensity to my work. The effort required to send a climb at my physical limit is the exact same effort I apply to building brands and serving my clients.
The Origin Story
I lived in a van for five years to chase a single pursuit: climbing.
From the moment I first touched rock, I was hooked. That passion became my entire world. I spent half a decade living out of a van, training relentlessly, and chasing lines across the country. My life was defined by the dirt, the high places, and the constant push for the next vertical milestone.
It was during those years on the road that I first picked up a camera. What started as a simple way to document the pursuit evolved into a deep-seated love for creativity. I realized that the discipline I learned on the wall—the need for precision, the tolerance for failure, and the obsession with the "send"—translated perfectly to the art of storytelling.
I believe marketing has lost its way. Too many brands are obsessed with "hacking the code," gaming the algorithm, or using psychological tricks to squeeze a sale out of a stranger.
